From Roadside to Blue Ribbon: The Heart Behind Glory Jeanne Honey

Side of the Road & Legacy

My journey with honey began years ago on the side of the road. I wasn’t selling honey to build a business — I was sharing Glory Jeanne Heavenly Gold Honey because I truly believed in its natural health benefits. People used it in their coffee, tea, and daily routines, and I loved offering something pure, natural, and untouched.

The honey comes from wildflower regions where the land has never been altered by agriculture, with the nearest farming area more than fifty miles away. This ensures that every jar remains as pure as nature intended — straight from wildflowers to your table.

The name Glory Jeanne Honey carries deep personal meaning. My mother’s name was Jeanne, and after she passed away, my daughter was born and named Glory Jeanne in her honor. To keep her legacy alive, her photo appears on every Heavenly Gold Honey label. Each jar represents family, memory, and purpose.

The Innovation

When my son suggested creating a spicy honey line, I began researching how to produce it in a way that protected honey’s natural benefits. Many brands heat honey above 103°F, which destroys its natural qualities. To prevent this, I use a thermostatically controlled warming blanket that keeps the temperature safely below that level.

I also use the sous vide infusion method, allowing the honey to slowly absorb flavor over several hours while preserving its natural properties. This careful process creates a balance of Flavor, Heat, and Health, which became the guiding motto behind every bottle.

Through this process, I developed four heat levels — Mild, Medium, Hot, and Extra Hot — each crafted with different peppers that add both flavor and their own beneficial properties.

The Victory

From selling honey roadside to earning the Blue Ribbon at the Fresno County Fair, this journey has been shaped by persistence, family inspiration, and community support. Today, every jar proudly carries the words “Made With Award-Winning Honey,” representing years of dedication and belief in doing things the right way.

For those in the Old Fig Garden area, you may even see the local sign offering spicy honey for sale. If you text the number listed, I personally bring the honey to your car — a reminder that despite growth and recognition, our commitment to community remains the same.

That is the story behind Glory Jeanne Honey — a journey built on legacy, resilience, and a passion for sharing something pure and meaningful.
